Mahjong 101 at Rock Elm Revival

Whether you've been curious about Mahjong for years or you're simply looking for a fun excuse to gather with friends, this beginner-friendly event is the perfect way to spend an evening. Mahjong is played with four people per table. If you're coming with friends, please purchase your tickets together and select the same table so we can seat your group together. Tickets are sold individually. We'll kick things off with an easy-to-follow lesson where you'll learn the basics—from recognizing the tiles to understanding gameplay and how to build a winning hand. After the lesson, you'll jump into guided practice games while our instructors move from table to table, answering questions, sharing strategy tips, and helping everyone feel comfortable as they play. The goal is for each table to complete a relaxed practice game, giving you plenty of time to learn the flow of the game, ask questions, and leave feeling excited and confident for your next Mahjong gathering.
